Sackets Harbor is located nine miles from exit 45 on Interstate 81, and one mile from New York State Route 3. The historic site property is located in the Village of Sackets Harbor at the end of both West Main and West Washington Streets. The Navy Yard is at the end of West Main Street.

Commercial buses serve Watertown, NY and taxi service is available to Sackets Harbor from Watertown. Commercial and private air service is provided at the Watertown International Airport. Boats may dock at the Sackets Harbor village-operated public dock just one block from the historic site.

Accessibility and Visitor Services:

The Lieutenant’s House orientation center, gallery and gift shop are accessible by exterior mechanical lift. Public restrooms at the “Hall House” are ADA compliant.

Parking lots are located by the Navy Yard at the end of Main Street, off Hill Street behind the Hall House and near the Red Barn, and by the site’s stone wall at the end of Washington Street
